News and Score Update of Mumbai Vs Tamil Nadu, Day 2, 2nd Semi-Final at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai

Mumbai are in the danger of getting knocked off in their Semi-Final match against Tamil Nadu as they find themselves reeling at 121 for 6 in reply to the visitors’ first innings total of 359 at the Wankhede Stadium today. Tamil Nadu’s Skipper Lakshmipathy Balaji led his team from the front capturing three wickets including that of sending back his Mumbai counterpart Wasim Jaffer for a duck.

Middle order batsman Suryakumar Yadav is the top scorer of the Mumbai Innings so far scoring a quick 52 from 57 balls.

L Balaji put Mumbai in troubleEarlier in the day, Tamil Nadu resuming at 250 for 6 added 109 more runs to finish with a competitive total of 359. Overnight batsman R Prasanna deservingly got to his century, to be precise scoring 104 (from 232 balls with 17 fours). Yo Mahesh came up with a crucial 67 which took him 259 balls.

For Mumbai, young medium pacer Balwinder Singh Sandhu got an impressive 5 for 88 in 26.1 overs. By Stumps on Day 2, Mumbai are trailing behind by 238 runs with just four wickets in hand.
