A clinical bowling performance backed up by some excellent fielding saw hosts Delhi Daredevils restrict Kings XI Punjab to 136/8 at the Feroz Shah Kotla in Match 64 of IPL 5. India’s fastest bowlers – Umesh Yadav with 4-0-21-3 and Varun Aaron with 4-0-19-2 bowled superbly for the Delhi Daredevils.

Batting first after winning the toss, Kings XI Punjab were finding the boundaries but at the same time losing wickets! By the 10th over, they were in trouble at 63 for 4 and soon that became 88 for 6.

Umesh Yadav took three wicketsOnce again Skipper David Hussey was the only batsman who was staying at the crease and he could manage to score an unbeaten 40 (from 35 balls with 5 fours and a six) while wickets kept on falling at the other end.

On a surface that looks good for batting, Kings XI Punjab clearly faltered against a quality pace attack from Delhi Daredevils. The fielding too was excellent with atleast three diving catches and two direct throws to result in run outs!
