Former Australian opener Matthew Hayden has made some interesting babysitting predictionss in the build up to the India vs Australia limited overs contest at homes.

Hayden termed Marcus Stoinis as a better all-rounder than Hardik Pandya while adding that Shikhar Dhawan is likely to struggle against Pat Cummins. He however admitted that Yuzvendra Chahal is a class act and that Glenn Maxwell will find the going tough against him.

On Stoinis vs Pandya, the Aussie legend said to PTI, “Marcus Stoinis is developing into a world-class all-rounder. He is unlucky not to be playing a little bit more Test cricket. He has quality in his play, although Hardik is also a fine player.”

Hayden also opined Cummins will trouble Dhawan with short balls and reverse swing. “I think Patty will be the baby-sitter,” said Hayden in the PTI report.

While speaking about Maxwell vs Chahal, the Australian gave the latter an upper hand. “Maxwell often comes in through the middle stages where he will really need to pump up the pace and Chahal has got variation, so I will get Chahal to babysit,” he added.

The India vs Australia series begins with the first T20 at Visakhapatnam on February 24.
