Left arm spinner Pragyan Ojha was taken to a hospital after being struck on his neck while batting on Thursday. Ojha who underwent a scan was released from the hospital with the injury blow only being a minor one.
The left-arm-spinner is likely to be fit for tomorrow’s Third ODI at Colombo. Ironically, Ojha sustained the blow on his neck when trying to practice the pull shot with the fielding Coach Trevor Penny throwing down balls to him.
The other spinner available for India apart from R Ashwin and Pragyan Ojha is Rahul Sharma. The tall leggie seemed to be sitting out from the playing XI perhaps on BCCI orders as he had tested positive for taking recreational drugs in a rave party a couple of months back.
