India Test Wicket Keeper Wriddiman Saha just few days after his return from Australia has struck an unbeaten century to carry East Zone to 258 for 4. On the opening day’s play of the Duleep Trophy Semi-Final match against North Zone at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi, East Zone had won the toss and elected to bat first.

East Zone were in early trouble at 60 for 3 when Wriddhiman Saha came to their rescue with his century. The Wicket Keeper batsman remained unbeaten on 100 from 166 balls with 11 fours and a six.

Wriddhiman SahaSaha had put up a crucial 194–run stand with Ishank Jaggi for the 4th wicket to defy the North Zone bowlers. Jharkhand’s Ishank Jaggi played well for his knock of 86 which came in 152 balls with 15 fours and a six. For the North Zone, part-time medium pacer Rajat Bhatia took two wickets.
